House of Readers welcomes thoughtful contributions from people who genuinely enjoy books, reading, and helping others discover what to read next.
We are looking for useful, reader-first ideas that fit the topics we cover and add something meaningful to the site.

What Makes a Good Submission

A strong submission should be original, clear, useful, and written for readers first.

We are looking for content that:

  • Answers a real reader question
  • Provides helpful context or recommendations
  • Is easy to read and well structured
  • Uses accurate book information
  • Avoids unnecessary filler
  • Is not written mainly for SEO links or promotion
  • We do not require a fixed word count. The article should simply be long enough to cover the topic properly.

Submission Guidelines

  • Please make sure your submission:
  • Is original and not published elsewhere
  • Is written in clear, natural English
  • Does not contain copied or lightly rewritten content
  • Does not use keyword stuffing
  • Does not include promotional or affiliate links without approval
  • Does not exist mainly to gain a backlink
  • Includes sources where factual information needs verification
  • We reserve the right to edit accepted content for clarity, structure, accuracy, and consistency with House of Readers.

Images and Links

If your article requires images, only submit media you have permission to use.

Do not send copyrighted images, book artwork, screenshots, or promotional materials unless you have the right to provide them.

Relevant external links may be included when they genuinely help the reader.

We do not guarantee do-follow links, and submissions created primarily for link placement will not be accepted.
